    The first Prime Minister was Sir Robert Walpole and the present PM is Gordon Brown. Also mentioned is Great Britain's only woman Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.

    Winstin Churchill, the PM during World War Two, has recently been voted the 'Greatest Briton of all time' in a poll of over 1,000 people.
